Biography:
Ana María Korol holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from UNR, graduating with the highest distinction (score: 10, outstanding). Her undergraduate thesis, titled “Theoretical Study of Optical Fiber Communications and Telephone Link Calculation between the Cities of Santa Fe and Rosario: Study of Intersymbol Interference using Fourier Transform,” focused on optical communications and signal interference analysis. She later earned her PhD in Engineering from UNR, also with the highest distinction, with a thesis titled “Quantifiers of Nonlinear Dynamics and Wavelet Transform in the Characterization of the Viscoelastic Properties of Erythrocytes.” She has published 78 papers and delivered 65 oral and poster presentations, and serves as a reviewer for journals in Physics and Biophysics.
