Biography:
Enrique Soto received his Bachelor of Medicine in 1980 from BUAP (Autonomous University of Puebla, México). He earned his Master's degree in Physiology in 1983, Doctorate 1988. He has been a Full-Time Professor-Researcher at the Institute of Physiology, BUAP, since 1983. He teaches courses in the Master's and Doctoral programs in Physiological Sciences and in the Bachelor's program in the School of Medicine. He is a member of various organizations, including the National Academy of Medicine and the Mexican Academy of Sciences. He was designated Emeritus Professor of the National Research System in 2022.
