Biography:
Tom Lawrence is an affiliated member of the Ronin Institute for Independent Scholarship 2.0, the Minkowski Institute and the National Coalition of Independent Scholarship. He received an MPhys in Theoretical Physics from the University of Exeter in 1997, followed by a PhD from the University of Southampton in 2002. His PhD, on the non-linear realisations that describe broken symmetries in field theory, was under Prof. K. J. Barnes. Since then, he has pursued independent research as part of a portfolio career, focusing since 2005 on Kaluza-Klein theories and the emergence of quantisation. His work has won plaudits from highly respected researchers.
