Energy Physics

Energy Physics studies the fundamental principles governing the generation, conversion, transmission, and utilization of energy across physical systems. It spans classical and modern physics, incorporating thermodynamics, electromagnetism, nuclear physics, and quantum mechanics. Energy physics addresses how energy is stored, transformed, and dissipated in natural and engineered environments. This field underpins technologies such as power generation, energy storage, and energy-efficient systems. Energy physics also investigates fundamental limits imposed by physical laws, such as efficiency bounds and entropy production. Research includes both conventional and emerging energy sources, linking microscopic interactions with macroscopic performance. Energy physics is central to addressing global challenges related to sustainability, climate change, and energy security. By combining theoretical modeling, experimentation, and computation, energy physics provides the scientific foundation for advancing current energy technologies and developing future solutions.
