Supersymmetry is a theoretical extension of particle physics that proposes a symmetry between fermions and bosons. For every known particle, supersymmetry predicts a partner particle with different spin properties. This framework aims to resolve key problems in the Standard Model, such as the hierarchy problem and dark matter candidate explanations. Supersymmetry also supports unification of fundamental forces at high energies. Although supersymmetric particles have not yet been observed, extensive searches continue in collider experiments. Supersymmetry plays a central role in theories of quantum gravity and string theory. It provides elegant mathematical structure and deep theoretical insights. If confirmed, supersymmetry would revolutionize understanding of fundamental physics and the universe.
